Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus is inviting you to a life of joy and purpose. His call is clear and succinct: Follow me. It echoes throughout every page of the Gospels. It penetrates through the power of the Eucharist. It calls from the suffering and vulnerability of the poor, the unborn, the elderly. Jesus is calling you, and he wants you to respond.
But how to respond? Our culture and world distract us. Even good things can pull us from discernment and thoughtful consideration of the important choices of life. We don’t get a second chance with some of them. Wouldn’t it be nice to have the gift of wisdom…and prayer…and formation…and community…and service? Wouldn’t it be nice to have the gift of time to be formed into a true disciple of the Lord?
The Gospel of Life School (GOLS) is such a gift. Through our four pillars of prayer, formation, community, and service, GOLS offers a path to discipleship and holiness.
The Gospel of Life School Missionary Disciples model their lives and ministry on Jesus Christ. We live together as a family, caring for our elder brothers and sisters, rich in years and experience. We are committed to regular prayer, with a special devotion to Jesus in the Eucharist who resides in a chapel at each Dwelling. We journey with each other, walking together in community as brothers and sisters in the Lord. We also have fun together, enjoying each other’s company and sharing in the joy that only life in the Holy Spirit can give.
"They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal life, to the breaking of the bread and to the prayers. Awe came upon everyone, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. All who believed were together and had all things in common."

The Gospel of Life School is a tremendous opportunity. As you consider your life, its purpose and how you can best respond to God’s unique call for you, GOLS is a place to explore what it means to be a missionary disciple. With a regular commitment to personal prayer and participation in the liturgical life of the Church, with opportunities for educational experiences and faithful spiritual guides, with shared life in community with others who are exploring like you, and with service to God by accompanying frail elders with life-affirming care, the Lord gives you the space and the place to help discover his plan. It can be life-changing and provide freedom to be yourself in the Lord!
